The Republic of Uzbekistan today has a different status of diplomatic relations with countries of the world community. For foreign citizens from all over the world, the method of entry into Uzbekistan may differ. There are several modes of entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan:

Visa-free regime
Residents of the countries listed below do not require a visa to enter Uzbekistan. Entry for periods specified by law is carried out using a foreign passport.

JamaicaIf citizens of the above states need to stay on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan for more than the established periods, they must obtain an entry visa in accordance with the procedure established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Simplified procedure for obtaining a visa
A simplified procedure for obtaining visas within 3 working days has been introduced for residents of the following countries, which does not require an invitation from a legal entity/individual from the Republic of Uzbekistan to be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

- original passport (the validity period of which must exceed the validity period of the visa by at least 3 months);
- 1 color photograph (passport size);
- consular fee (according to the tariffs given in the Duty section)
Electronic tourist visa
Residents of the above states also have the opportunity to obtain an electronic tourist visa by filling out an application on the E-VISA portal and paying a fee of 20 USD. An electronic visa is provided in PDF format to the applicant’s e-mail and is not pasted into the passport.
- The duration of consideration of submitted documents or electronic application is 3 working days.
- The e-visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
- The period of stay in Uzbekistan with an e-visa is 30 days.
If the applicant has dual citizenship, the electronic visa application form must be filled out with the data of the passport on the basis of which it is planned to enter the Republic of Uzbekistan. If you change your passport during the validity period of the e-visa, you must obtain the e-visa again.
Entry with invitation
For citizens of all other countries, an entry visa is issued on the basis of visa support. To obtain visa support, you need to provide our company with the following list of documents:
- Completed visa support form
- A scanned copy of your passport
- A scanned copy of your employment certificate
After we receive all the necessary information, we will issue visa support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, which will review your documents within 7 working days. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reserves the right to refuse to issue a permit without providing reasons for the refusal. In case of refusal, the paid fee is not refunded. Having received permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will send you a telex number by mail, after which you can contact the diplomatic mission or consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the country of your stay with a list of the following documents:
- Original passport (validity of which must exceed the validity of the visa by at least 3 months);
- Completed visa application form in 2 copies;
- 2 color photographs (passport size);
- Telex number (sent to you by email);
- Consular fee (according to the tariffs given in the Duty section)
The processing time for submitted documents is 3 working days. Visa support is terminated if the client refuses a previously booked package of travel services.
Visa with registration at the airport
If there is no diplomatic mission or consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in your country of residence, then you will be able to obtain an entry visa upon arrival at the Islam Karimov International Airport in the visa support sector. To do this, you need to apply for visa support from our company by sending us the following list of documents:
- Completed visa support form
- A scanned copy of your passport
- A scanned copy of your employment certificate
- Scanned copies of airline tickets or reservations
After we receive all the necessary information, we will issue visa support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, which will review your documents within 7 working days. Having received permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will send you an official permit document with a telex number by mail. This document must be presented by you when passing passport control in the country of your stay and on its basis you will be issued a visa upon arrival at the Islam Karimov International Airport in the visa support sector of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Transit visa to Uzbekistan
Foreign citizens transiting through the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to obtain a transit visa for a period of 72 hours, must provide to the diplomatic mission or consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the country of their stay the entire list of documents required for obtaining a tourist visa, and also attach to it:
- Visa of the destination country;
- Travel documents with a confirmed date of departure from Uzbekistan to the destination country;
The processing time for submitted documents is 3 working days.
Visa-free entry when transiting through Uzbekistan
For citizens of a number of countries (the list of countries is given below) entering the Republic of Uzbekistan for a period of up to 5 days with subsequent departure to a third country (provided they have air tickets issued through the national airline Uzbekistan Airways both to Uzbekistan and to a third country) , a short-term visa-free regime has been established. The state of destination cannot be the departure state of the transit. Visa-free entry has been introduced for citizens of the following countries when transiting through Uzbekistan for a period of no more than 5 days:

The following consular fees apply for processing and issuing visas:
1. Single entry visas:
- up to 7 days — 40 USD;
- up to 15 days — 50 USD;
- up to 30 days — 60 USD;
- up to 3 months — 80 USD;
- up to 6 months — 120 USD;
- up to 1 year — 160 USD.
For each additional visa number, the tariff rate increases by 10 USD.
2. Multiple entry visas:
- up to 6 months — 150 USD;
- up to 1 year — 250 USD.
3. Transit visas:
- up to 72 hours — 40 USD;
- for a double-entry transit visa — 50 USD.
4. Group visas (at least 5 people, excluding children under 16 years old):
- up to 15 days - 15 USD per person;
- up to 30 days - 25 USD per person.
When applying for a visa, you are also required to pay the actual cost. The amount of such costs depends on the place where the visa is issued and does not depend on the citizenship of the applicant.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
For foreign citizens under 16 years of age, entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan does not require a visa and is carried out using their own foreign passport for the period of validity of the accompanying person’s visa, but not more than 90 days from the date of entry into the country. If a child is traveling with one of the parents, it is advisable to have a notarized permission for the child to leave the home country from the other parent to prevent possible misunderstandings at the departure airport.
